My original post, “I’ve started reading Unhumans by Jack Posobiec, and it has left me deeply unsettled. Promoted by J.D. Vance and Donald Trump Jr., who both contributed publisher blurbs (quoted in the comments), this book reflects a troubling perspective on the current political climate, particularly in light of recent events.
The author uses the term “unhumans” to describe progressives, leftists, and even moderates—a term he uses quite literally, denying their very humanity. This dehumanization is framed as a justification for stripping away their rights and combating them through the very tactics Posobiec accuses them of employing. The endorsements from prominent figures like Vance and Trump Jr. lend weight to the book’s divisive rhetoric.
What’s most alarming is Posobiec’s call to abandon democratic processes, claiming that the ballot box is no longer a viable solution. Instead, he advocates for authoritarian measures to confront these so-called “unhumans,” whom he blames for the erosion of an idealized version of America. This rhetoric echoes historical examples of inflammatory and divisive ideologies, giving examples of how Authoritarian Regimes were the only successful way to defeat the unhumans. He draws praise for the likes of Augusto Pinochet, whose dictatorial regime interned 40,018, including 3,065 killed; he also ‘disappeared’ over 3000 of his citizens who have never been found. Other heroes for this author include Military Dictator Francisco Franco of Spain, whose rise to power in the Spanish Civil war was punctuated by rape, torture, and execution of his enemies; and during his decades long rule used forced labour, concentration camps and executions and led to between 30,000 and 50,000 deaths.
The book positions itself as more than a critique—it’s a call to action that encourages the deepening of societal divisions in the United States over the last 3 decades. Posobiec argues that Western civilization is under attack from within and that only drastic, undemocratic actions can preserve it. This vision of a counter-revolution, seemingly endorsed by influential figures, raises serious questions about the normalization of such extreme views.
I encourage everyone to examine this book and its implications critically. Read the publisher’s blurbs, consider the endorsements, and reflect on what this means for our society. This is not just a book; it’s a reflection of the growing challenges to unity and democratic principles.”
In comments to this post I listed the following quote from Amazon Editorial reviews:
“In the past, communists marched in the streets waving red flags. Today, they march through HR, college campuses, and courtrooms to wage lawfare against good, honest people. In Unhumans, Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec reveal their plans and show us what to do to fight back.”
—J. D. Vance, Senator (R-OH)
“Jack Posobiec sees the big picture and isn’t afraid to describe it. He’s been punished for that, but it makes him one of the rare people worth listening to.”
—Tucker Carlson
“The far Left murdered 100 million people in the twentieth century and have repeatedly shown that they will stop at nothing to achieve their totalitarian goals. They have torn down countless societies using a sophisticated playbook of propaganda. The only way to stop them in the future is to use their own subversive playbook against them. Unhumans reveals that playbook and teaches us how to deploy it immediately to save the West.”
—Donald Trump, Jr.
I followed up days later with another post begging my friends on FB to see for themselves, to go to Amazon and read the first two chapters that are available there as a sample:

Sadly, no one responded with comment or reaction.
Let me add here a couple of posts. First a review by best-selling Christian Author Frankie Shaffer:
And one more if you’d like to listen to another review:
